Check the downloads folder on your computer. Once you download the program, you still have to install it on your computer (.exe for windows, .dmg for mac).
Once installed, double-click the desktop icon to start eCraftshop Pro. The registration key should only have to be entered once to unlock the program and allow you full access.
If you are still having trouble, please contact tech support either by phone or by email :) They'll help get you set up!

I had a problem when entering the Activation Key (was not being recognised) and after contacting Tech. Support discovered I was entering a number 0 instead of a letter O (or vice versa) within the Activation Key. This may not be the same problem that you have but I thought I would mention it because it is a simple mistake to make and may help someone else. Hope you are sorted now.
I just installed the software last night (12/28/11) and I am watching the video to learn the tricks etc., and I noticed that the my software is not the same as the software in the videos. I do not have an icon for the weld, select and some of the other features that are in the videos.. Why is this? Is there an upgrade for the software or is this the only one? Thank you.
I have the same problem, there is no preview, weld, nudge,or multi select tool.Hope somebody knows the answer to this .
The software has been upgraded since those videos were created... They got rid of the 'weld' button, now you use your mouse to select the shapes you want to weld (click corner of virtual mat, then drag to select your objects), then at the top of the screen select 'path', then 'union'. That will 'weld'.
To 'nudge' just use your arrow keys...they will move the object slightly in whatever ever direction you chose.
To select multiple objects, same as selecting them for 'weld'.
HTH :)
Hello Iris,
Here is a video tutorial for welding with the update version of eCraft Pro:http://blog.craftwellusa.com/2011/12/design-team-video-lisa-somerville.html

I just bought my eCraft and have registered my software, when I click on the library button it shows Fundamental1 with Shapes below it but no pictures of the different shapes come up as they do in the video provided with the machine, clicking on the button doesn't do anything.
can anyone help
Caz,
Have you tried restarting your computer? It sounds like there is some sort of conflict with your graphics card maybe? I'm no computer expert, but a lot of times these things can be fixed by restarting.
Hi Denise,
It was my mistake I hadn't clicked on the box which said there are new designs to download,

Hi, just got my ecraft cutter, and it will not cut anything. It's just kiss cutting all my papers no matter what setting I use. I used heavy cardstock, light cardstock, I used settings from 1 to 8.5 and nothing is working.
Your pressure dial might be stuck in place... Try moving the dial back and forth quickly from lowest to highest and back again a few times - that usually unsticks it.
I tried moving the dial back and forth several times and nothing changed, still kiss cutting all materials.
I am having software problems. It crashes when I click "fonts." I uninstalled the software, then reinstalled it but still have the same problem.
I also dont think I received my freebies when I registered. :-( Can anyone help?
Thanks in advance!

Justmaxine, you should contact Craftwell customer support. They can find out better than us what is causing the problem. Their customer support is really good, so no worries! They will get you up and running!
I can't get the the software to communicate to the ECRAFT ? I receive an error when I try to cut the image that I have the improper SD card to reset and check again. I do have the proper card in the Ecraft. Please advise what I am doing wrong?
Diane, if you hit Reset on the eCraft and then click on the Check SD card it should read it. If it doesn't contact Craftwell, they will figure out why that is happening.
@justmaxine - sounds like its time for you to call customer service - they're really great, but they are only open during 'normal' business hours EST. You can also shoot them an email...
Or be like me, when my machine didn't work right, and send videos of it in action! LOL
Either way, please get in touch with Craftwell so they can take care of you :)
I did try and they gave me a couple of things to try which I did find online, but the Ecraft still isn't recognized by my computer. A tech was suppose to call me back and never did so I am going to have to be in the right mood to waste another day waiting by the phone for a call.
Thanks Jennifer I appreciate your advice, and did go to your site and check it out! Very nice and informitable. I hope that I can get to that point soon.
Thanks again,
Diane
The ECraft now works and it was done with a remote access!
WOOHOO!! Glad it is working for you Diane!
hey there!!
I put in many hours of research trying to find the best machine for me. After much hesitation i ordered the ecraft. it just finally made it to my house and i was so excited to work with it. after registering and trying to download the software, i realized in my search for the perfect machine i didnt check to see if it works with a MAC :( now i have this new toy, paid the money and i cant even use it. i looked on this forum and found that people use the vmware which downloaded, but it seams to only be useful if i had a pc im trying to convert to mac which i dont. I only own mac and im a little irritated that i now have something i cant use. :( someone please help me.
VMWare Fusion and Parallels make is possible for Mac users to run windows simultaneously via what's called a 'virtual machine'. You're basically running to operating systems at the same time. On your Mac you also have Bootcamp which gives you the ability to partition your hard drive and giving Mac users the ability to boot into Windows natively. The only time I ever boot into windows on my Mac is for video graphic intense programs that only run in Windows. But for my eCraft, I just fire up VMware to run eCraftshop Pro.
Now if you would prefer to remain strictly on the Mac OS - then you can check out Sure Cuts A Lot. Its a 3rd party software that has a plug-in for the eCraft and comes in both Windows and Mac compatible. SCAL (as its typically referred to) will give you the ability to cut to your eCraft via Mac. BUT you will not be able to use images downloaded from eCraft Central (their file type is specific to eCraftshop Pro) and you will only be able to cut images from the SD cards via the machine itself. so that's a little limiting but not full blown crippling.
Craftwell is still developing a Mac version of eCraftshop Pro but its not due out until they have completed the 'to-do' list they have for the Windows based version...but that list has dwindled down a lot lately - so hopefully us Mac users won't have to wait too much longer.
If VMware Fusion and Parallels still seem confusing, pop into your local Apple store and see if they can better explain it.

What software do people use who really want to create things? I find this software very limited, There isn't even an erase tool.
Hey there! so iv had my machine for about i dunno 9 months now and it is just sitting in the box due to owning a mac. Im starting to get a little frustrated seeing how i saved up money for this machine and cant even use it. im at the point that its a waste of space and is consuming $ i could spend on a machine that is mac compt. Is there any more word on if and when they will release the mac software? if there is no word, can i return my machine for the full amount? Seeing how when i did extensive research on which machine i would purchase i never saw that it would not work with a mac or i wouldn't have bought it. please let me know what further assistance can help me. Im a little worried that since iv held onto it for so long with the hopes of the new software iv exhausted my grace period which would be a little aggravating. please help in an way :/
