Hi all, I'm hoping someone can help me... I've been successfully using may ECraft and the software for almost a month and all of a sudden the software is dying on me in the middle of my project. I thought it was because I was ungrouping objects but now it seems random. A box will pop up and say 'an error has occurred, program is shutting down' or something to that effect... And I lose my work... I tried uninstalling and reinstalling but that didn't work.
I was also wondering if we were going to have the ability to print and cut with the ECraft through registration marks or similar like SC? I've see. The hinge cutting but I don't really want to spend another 60 for software and then have to cut another piece of paper etc. now that I've had the ECraft for a while I feel like I would use PnC quite a bit if it were an available feature. TIA

I am having the same problem and now I can not use my Library to cut from sd cards that I dont have.
Tech support wrote me back today that the ungroup button wasnt fully function and to use ctrl B to ungroup, but now it's constantly freezing up. It doesn't seem to matter what I'm trying to do, it just locks up and shuts down. I LOVE my ECraft but the software has been a lot of frustration and I really can't afford SCAL or MTC right now :(
Craftwell is working on these bugs in the software and I suspect we will have an update soon.

@ territullos - no one has the ability to cut from SD cards they don't own. If you were able to it was a bug that was fixed... Were these images you purchased via eCraft Central?

Is this possibly why the weld and other buttons (Shown in the tutorials) are no longer available with the software? The weld is the main tool I was wanting to use!!!
I am having the same problem, it is VERY frustrating. I can cut something once, it will finish, then I try to cut it again and it hangs in the middle. No rhyme or reason, it just hangs, which of course ruins the vinyl. I have wasted so much vinyl I am not sure if I am even going to continue trying to use it. PLEASE FIX THIS ASAP!
Choose select tool, and mark around the items you wish to weld. The go to "path" and "union" and the items will be welded.

Here is how to weld on the most updated version of the software: For welding letters, type text>select>ungroup>then click on each letter to move together so it overlaps>select>Path>union. For shapes, simply overlap them>select>Path>union. There is no longer a preview option, as whatever appears on the screen is what will cut.
